For over twenty-five years, the
Family Therapy Center of Virginia Tech has offered low-cost, high quality psychotherapy and counseling to thousands of couples, families,
individuals, and organizations in the New River Valley and surrounding areas. Our therapists specialize in working with couples,
families, and individuals in emotional distress, as well as providing consultation to businesses and organizations. We offer our
services to clients of all ages, genders, political or religious views, sexual orientations, and ethnic backgrounds. Our services
are confidential to the fullest extent of the law: our staff does not discuss or share clients' identities or records with anyone except in
cases of 1)child abuse, 2)immediate and specific threats of physical harm to oneself or others, 3)by judicial order, or 4)with the client's
written permission.
