Interview Day   Interview Day
Interview Day
Interview Day is typically the last Monday in February.  After reviewing all the applications received in January, we invite those students we believe would be best suited to the program to interview with us for the day.  Candidates have the chance to meet with program and department faculty, students, and each other, and learn about the program and themselves.   We serve a continental breakfast and a potluck lunch provided in part by our current program students.   In the morning candidates and faculty meet as a group, take part in a group exercise or two designed to help everyone learn more about each other, and have the chance to learn in more detail about the program, the department, and the university. During lunch they have the opportunity to talk with current students and and clinical faculty over a meal.   In the afternoon candidates and faculty meet together in small groups, and candidates also can tour the Family Therapy Center, guided by program students.  We typically are able to make final invitations within 48 hours of the end of Interview Day.
